FREELY ADJUSTABLE BOOKSHELF
Technical Background
There is a known device that aligns positions of spines of a plurality of books displayed on a shelf plate of a bookshelf.
For example, there is a known device including a sliding member having a predetermined length in a width direction of a shelf plate and moveable in parallel in a depth direction on the shelf plate; a pushing member disposed in a discretionary position in a depth direction on a shelf plate more rearward than the sliding member; and a blocking member having a predetermined length in a width direction of a shelf plate at a front part of a bookshelf and capable of stopping movement of a book in contact with a spine of the book when aligning books forward.
There is a known bookshelf including a lateral plate having at least one function of either a first function of forming a placement surface of a book or a second function of covering an upper surface of a book; and a partition plate limiting movement of a book in a depth direction in a storage space held between the lateral plate having the first function and the lateral plate having the second function, in which an item space for storage of an item other than a book is formed on a deeper side than the partition plate in the storage space, the partition plate is configured moveably, and the partition plate is moved, and thus the item space is opened on a book space side formed on the front side of the partition plate of the storage space, enabling an item to be taken out.
Current Problems
Fabrication is difficult, such as disposing right side plate holes on the bookshelf and disposing a pushing member on the outside.
Disposing the pushing member increases the lateral width of the bookshelf accordingly.
In some cases, a projection is provided, and therefore the size of the book to be placed is limited.
Creating the partition plate from wood results in a certain heavy weight, making attachment and detachment difficult.
The object of the present invention is to easily align books of a desired size on the front side of a bookshelf.
Means for Solving Problems
In order to achieve the above object, the disclosed bookshelf is provided.
This bookshelf includes at least one section having a depth and including an opening having a rectangular shape; a groove formed in parallel with a side of the opening of the section on one or both of a side and a bottom in the section; and a plate having a rectangular shape including flexibility and having an end positioned in the groove.
This can easily align books of a desired size on the front side of a bookshelf.
Scope of Claims

A bookshelf comprising of at least one section having a depth and including an opening having a rectangular shape; a groove formed in parallel with a side of the opening of the section in both a side and a bottom in the section; and a plate having a rectangular shape including flexibility, having an end positioned in the groove, and forming a predetermined grippable gap between the plate and an upper part of the section.
[Claim 2]
The bookshelf according to claim 1, wherein a distance from the opening to the groove is set in accordance with a size of a book.
[Claim 3]
The bookshelf according to claim 2, wherein a plurality of the grooves are arranged in accordance with a size of a different book.
