VIRTUAL SPACE SEQUENCE MANAGEMENT DEVICE

VIRTUAL SPACE SEQUENCE MANAGEMENT DEVICE

Technical Background

Inventory management systems include a known system in which in a flatly stacking warehouse, a position at which a parcel is received by a manned carrier is automatically measured by a position measurement system and a position measurement server, and an absolute physical position, which is a position of a parcel measured by the inventory management system, is converted into a relative logical position, which is a relative array of a parcel, and an inventory of a parcel is managed by the relative logical position.

Current Problems

Although it is described that “an inventory is managed by measuring an absolute physical position of a parcel to be received and converting the absolute physical position into a relative logical position”, no specific method is disclosed.
The object of the present invention is to manage an inventory using a virtual space.

Means for Solving Problems

In order to achieve the above object, the disclosed management device is provided.
This management device includes a control unit that divides a predetermined space in a preset unit to set a relative position coordinate, issues a number for identifying a set position coordinate, and generates object position information in which a position information, an object existing in the position information, and presence of movement of the object are associated; and a storage unit that stores object position information generated by the control unit.
An inventory can be managed using a virtual space.

Scope of Claims

[Claim 1]

A management device comprising of a control unit that allocates a unique sequence number to each object existing in a real space, sets a relative position coordinate to each space for each preset unit of a virtual space formed by dividing a predetermined real space by the unit, issues a number for identifying a set position coordinate, decides a number for identifying a position coordinate indicating a position in a virtual space of the object based on image information in which each object installed in the real space is captured, registers first information in which a size of an object existing in the real space is divided by the unit and range information of a position coordinate occupied by the object is associated with a sequence number of the object, registers second information indicating whether or not processing of permitting movement of the object to outside the virtual space has been performed, and if the processing of permitting movement of the object has been performed, updates the second information corresponding to a sequence number of the object into a state indicating that the processing of permitting movement of the object has been performed; and a storage unit that stores the first information and the second information having been generated.

[Claim 2]

The management device according to claim 1, wherein when the object no longer exists in a position coordinate where the object exists, the control unit generates retainer information in which a retainer retaining the object no longer existing and identification information of the object are associated.

[Claim 3]

The management device according to claim 2, wherein the control unit compares identification information of the object registered in the retainer information with identification information of the object presented by the retainer, and judges whether or not processing of permitting movement of an object retained by the retainer to outside the virtual space has been performed.

[Claim 4]

A management method, wherein a computer allocates a unique sequence number to each object existing in a real space, sets a relative position coordinate to each space for each preset unit of a virtual space formed by dividing a predetermined real space by the unit, issues a number for identifying a set position coordinate, decides a number for identifying a position coordinate indicating a position in a virtual space of the object based on information in which each object installed in the real space is captured, registers first information in which a size of an object existing in the real space is divided by the unit and range information of a position coordinate occupied by the object is associated with a sequence number of the object, registers second information indicating whether or not processing of permitting movement of the object to outside the virtual space has been performed, and if the processing of permitting movement of the object has been performed, updates the second information corresponding to a sequence number of the object into a state indicating that the processing of permitting movement of the object has been performed.

[Claim 5]

A program causing a computer to execute processing of allocating a unique sequence number to each object existing in a real space, setting a relative position coordinate to each space for each preset unit of a virtual space formed by dividing a predetermined real space by the unit, issuing a number for identifying a set position coordinate, deciding a number for identifying a position coordinate indicating a position in a virtual space of the object based on information in which each object installed in the real space is captured, registering first information in which a size of an object existing in the real space is divided by the unit and range information of a position coordinate occupied by the object is associated with a sequence number of the object, registering second information indicating whether or not processing of permitting movement of the object to outside the virtual space has been performed, and if the processing of permitting movement of the object has been performed, updating the second information corresponding to a sequence number of the object into a state indicating that the processing of permitting movement of the object has been performed.
